We were back at Darien Lake on the first wekend of June.

Boomerang 2010 looking brand new.
This picture doesn't do it justice. Boomerang looks better than I've ever seen it.
We went to the General Store for sodas and snacks ( try the Crystal Beach Sugar Waffles , they are perfect) and saw that Boomerang was painted, Viper looks sweet in all black, still a great ride. Predator's new "Blue" train is unbelievable, MUCH smoother.
The work on Predator in the past few seasons has really paid off.
The Hotel has a new Game Room, Gift store and Forts of Fun Rooms.
There are a lot of new and exciting things happening at Darien Lake in 2010.
This is going to be a great year.

Some people have been asking me about new pricing for staying at the Hotel and Campgrounds. Darien Lake's web site now lists 2 guest park passes included in the price of the room, it used to be 4.
I compared what I paid on my last visit of 2009, when 4 guests were included in the price, and the 2010 price quote for the same dates, with 4 guests, the price works out to be the same.
The new booking system adds the extra guest passes in the price when you add more guests.
If you have less than 4 in your party you should save money, compared to the 2009 pricing.
If everyone in your party has a season pass you can save on accommodations.
Enter Promo Code SPAS when making your reservations and the discount will taken.
The prices are really low.

You can call in your reservations @ 585-599-2211. Guest services is very friendly, helpful and will get you the best price possible.

Darien Lake announces Splashtown!

A major water park expansion is happening at Darien Lake.
Splashtown is scheduled to open May 29th.
Your 2010 season pass will get you into both parks.

New quad-slide complex, new lazy river, new wave pool, new park space, a new bathhouse, more deck and lounging space, and new cabanas.
That's not all!
Forts of Fun themed rooms at the Hotel and 24 new Brown Bear cabins at the campgrounds.
Brown Bear Cabins, which look like log cabins, have a fireplace, wireless Internet, cable television

A very nice look and well thought out.
Darien Lake has a new Hotel and Campground reservation system.
Great look and easy to use. Very fast.
Also a new "Speed it Up" season pass helper.
Enter your season pass voucher info to speed up your pass processing.

It has been a very busy summer for me and we have not gotten to Darien Lake as often as we would have liked. One of my co-workers came up from Cleveland and met family members at Darien Lake for a long weekend. They stayed at the Hotel and booked the Suite. Here are some of the photos of the suite.
